Were you scared by the clowns or the strange looking ladies guiding the ponies? When your daddy went to the rodeo as a boy, he got really scared and cried so much that I never got to go to the rodeo. Never. Never-ever in life. You are a very blessed girl to have such a brave big brother! :)

Love you, Aunt Cindy

Erin, you're a gem. We probably need to work on spelling, but I look forward to reading each of your posts! I am glad you enjoyed the rodeo.

Oh no! Somebody call the waaaaaaaambulance...

:)

I have been to the Rodeo. I personally do not think you are missing much. Just stinky horses and bulls, and cowboys chasing said stinky animals...

I am with Erin, and so is Katie. We LIKE the rodeo. We are now a house divided.

I am pretty sure if Cindy is really that upset about "Never. Never-ever in life" getting to go to the Rodeo, she is a big girl now, and can go at any time...

Unless I, somehow, am still preventing her from doing so...

Just to set the record straight, the episode where Don was traumatized by the scarey old lady and the riding pony was at a carnival in Longview, Texas, not the Rodeo.

Don really did enjoy the one rodeo we went to. I must admit that not attending any others was my fault. Therefore I am to blame for any rodeo-deprived feelings my children may have.

See... we should always blame our parents for our shortcomeings, insecurities and resentments. I should have known better than to accuse you... forgive my accusations, Don.
